FLC celebrated it's 100th anniversary in the year 2000. Today FLC has over 600 communicant members and over 800 baptized members and the spiritual leader of the congregation is Pastor David Renfro. Pastor Renfro has classes for those wishing to become members or for members wanting to refresh their understanding of our faith and beliefs.

We have many activities for members of all ages. Sunday mornings, in addition to our regular worship services, we have Bible studies for adults and Sunday school for our youth. During the week a number of other Bible studies are held regularly.

FLC has a preschool and a childcare for children up to the age of 5. The classes take place Monday - Friday during the school year. We have programs for grade school, junior high, and senior high youth. For the college aged we have Lutheran Student Fellowship (LSF).

Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is an active group performing many important tasks for our church and providing women with fellowship and spiritual fulfillment. Our choir, Praise Team, and handbell choir are important assets to our church - and great places to serve and have fellowship. Our Fellowship board schedules many events and activities throughout the year which are enjoyed by our members.

A booklet was made to commemorate the first 100 years of First Lutheran. Click here to view an Adobe PDF of the booklet.
